UCTEA Chamber of Geological Engineers Izmir Branch is going to organize the 2^nd International Marble – Natural Stones Congress with the contributions of Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Engineering, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and IZFAS 2-4 February 2010.

During the congress, which is going to last for three days, the topics and problems of the marble – natural stones sector, which carries globally, within the framework of global economic relations great importance, are going to be discussed from scientific, technical, commercial, administrative and legal aspects. During the congress invited papers and chosen papers, by the scientifical committee is going to be presented. The open session is going to take place on the last day, the congress. Also the congress is going to be end with a technical trip of two days, organized in the vicinity of Ephesus Ancient City and Hierapolis (Pamukkale – Denizli).

I hope you will join this congress which will host more than 300 delegates from Turkey and other countries of all over of the world related to marble – natural stones. Also this congress will be interesting from scientific, technical as well as commercial aspects.
